Chemical Peels

Enzyme Peel – $65

Fruit based. Lightest of peels. No skin cell turnover, only an exfoliant. Refines pores. Not an AHA or BHA.

Lactic Acid Peel – $65

A gentle AHA. A milk derivative that restores moisture, skin lightening, & thickens skin. Lactic is shown to inhibit tyrosinase enzyme activity directly, so it is a key peel to use when dealing with pigmentation issues. It will also help to improve chronically dry skin due to its hygroscopic property. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in weekly or bi-weekly increments.

Mandelic Acid Peel – $125

A mild AHA. Derived from bitter almond. Safe for sensitive skin. Treats acne, increases skin cell turnover, exfoliates, & promotes collagen production. Bigger molecule AHA. Does not penetrate as deep as glycolic acid. Often combined with Salicylic Acid & BHA. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in weekly or bi-weekly increments.

Jessner’s Peel (Salicylic, Lactic, and Resorcinol) – $170

An amino acid alcohol sulfur based exfoliant and an antiseptic. Downtime: weeks of peeling. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in weekly or bi-weekly increments.

Tartaric Acid Peel – $65

A mild AHA. A grape extract. For sun damage & acne.

Glycolic Acid Peel – $125

An AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid), derived for sugarcane or fruits citric acid, for dry skin & anti-aging. Water soluble. Smallest molecule AHA penetrates deeper, exfoliates, boosts skin cell turnover, & stimulates collagen production. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in weekly or bi-weekly increments.

Salicylic Acid Peel – $125

A BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid). Derived from willow bark. (Contra if allergy to aspirin) Oil soluble. Deeper penetration. Targets oil sebaceous glands & dissolves oils. Use for acne, cleans pores, lightens, & anti-inflammatory. It can be too drying higher concentrations, so remember to moisturize. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in weekly or bi-weekly increments.

Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA) – $170

Synthetic compound. No found evidence of being carcinogenic. Does sting for 60-90 seconds, & self neutralizes. Downtime: few weeks of peeling. 20%-30% for body peels. 6-8 treatments: will be administered in bi-weekly/monthly increments.

*Safety dictates that more layers of a lower % is always the best method.

VI Peel Precision Plus – $275 per treatment

TCA 15%, Tretinoic 0.1%, Salicylic 12%, Phenol 12%, Vitamin C, and minerals. Used for hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, & acne. Does not sting. Minimal downtime: 1 week peeling. Ideally apply 4x/yr.
