This has been the biggest complaint we’ve heard since the masks have been mandated. Acne caused from the mask, or as we like to call it ‘Mask-ne’, can be a difficult beast to tame. With dirt accumulation, makeup residue, sweat, and condensation, the mask is a bacterial playground. One thing we recommend is to wash reusable masks regularly. Bacteria builds up in the reusable masks, so remembering to wash them can be crucial for your skin. If you are using disposable masks, use a new one as often as you seem fit. This could be everyday. every week, or anywhere in between, depending on how often you wear it.
Another tip for keeping your face clear is to maintain your skincare regimen. Remembering to wash your face regularly and using specialty products, like spot treatments and acne prevention treatments, as needed are great ways to protect your skin from breakouts. We encourage you do to your own research, as well as consult us, on products that will work best for you.

Make sure to sanitize the frame between uses to prevent bacteria.
We hope these tips keep you and your skin happy and healthy.
